Yes,it works great on my Border Collie. So far this deshedder brush has been the only one to actually deshed and detangle his coat, and it is the only deshedder tool he lets us use on him.
Would this cat undercoat rake work well on a matted persian?
I also have a Persian cat,she always has issues with matting fur. I have tried four other brushes, but this undercoat brush works better than I have ever used on my girl. It took care of the knots and matting with ease.
Can you use this dematting tool on cat's armpits?
Yes, this cat dematting tool is smaller than common ones and suitable for armpits, legs, chest and other areas of the cat. As always pull hair out away from pit area as much as possible, but don't pull too hard.
Can I use it on a long haired rabbit?
I don’t have a rabbit, but my long haired fluffy cat loves this cat shedding tool.It would be great for any long haired rabbit, 12/10 would absolutely recommend to anyone.
How does it work on really bad knots?
Just pinch and hold the root of the matted hair, use this grooming brush gently to go over knots as many times as you need. I'd say it will get the job done under 10 small strokes and you will be amazed at how well it works.
It looks like it could draw blood if not careful with it?
It hasn't drawn any blood on either of our cats. The brush is sharp enough to gently grab on to hiar but not sharp enough to draw blood.
Howoftenshould you use?
That will depend on your cats coat. I use it on my cat once a week and brush her more times a week during shedding season.
